REED FE are seeking an Electrical Training Instructor/Assessor to join a well-established training provider delivering high-quality electrical courses and assessments to adult learners. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Electrical Tutor or a qualified electrician looking to move into a teaching and assessing role.
The Role of an Electrical Tutor
- Deliver practical and classroom-based electrical training for adult learners
- Support learners through qualifications and assessments
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Share industry knowledge and best practice
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment

Essential Qualifications to hold for this role
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment, or equivalent
- Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671 / 18th Edition)
Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on electrical installation experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals
Desirable but Not Essential
- Previous experience as an Electrical Tutor, Trainer or Assessor
- AM2 assessment experience
- PTLLS, A1 Assessor or equivalent teaching qualifications
