My clients seeking an experienced SALES EXECUTIVE (FREIGHT) to join their Scotland office- this would be fully office based.
Daily duties would include:
- Handling air and ocean freight
- Internal and external pricing
- Cold calling
- Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations
- Quoting customers and follow ups
- Update customer tariffs
- Rate negotiation
- Identifying market trends, potential and customers needs
- Lead marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business
Skills required:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Experience within air and ocean freight
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong negotiation skill
- PC literate
