JOB – Quality / Inspection Supervisor
LOCATION – Bournemouth
TERM- Permanent
SALARY – £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependant on experience).
We are looking for a Senior Quality Inspector, Quality Control Supervisor, Chief Inspector or similar skillset for a client within the manufacturing sector within the Bournemouth area. Your main duties will be supervising the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control / Inspection team.
The Quality Supervisor / Senior Inspector will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a senior Inspection or Supervisor role within a quality team.
- Knowledge of various Quality procedures and techniques.
- Experience within an engineering manufacturing business.
- Capable of leading a team.
- Familiar with Callipers, Micrometers and other inspection tools.
- Able to communicate well with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Any experience of CMM Inspection would be advantageous.
The Quality Supervisor / Senior Inspector role will involve:
- Supervising the inspection team with Inspection and reporting duties.
- Being hands on to assist with Inspection techniques as and when needed.
- Maintain and upkeep the inspection documentation for the manufacturing department.
- Take ownership of inspection activities throughout production.
