We are specialist providers of Processing and Civil Engineering solutions for the Quarrying, Aggregates & Material Handling Industries. We offer over a century’s worth of combined knowledge and experience which was chosen specifically to create a streamlined, full service, turnkey solution within the Material Processing industry.
We boast a unique structure and can offer Design, Manufacture and Commissioning of material processing plants, as well as all the Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical works of these plants.
As a Work Supervisor you will be working in conjunction with the Project Manager and Divisional Director to control all operations of the processing site and its assets in the most efficient way to ensure the highest quality output of the site.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the resources run in a manner that is both safe and efficient
- Managing operators to maximize output safely
- Managing the site to ensure that all work is carried out to high standards
- Ensuring contractor is visiting the site have the correct paperwork and are carrying out all works in a safe manner
- Communicating in morning meetings and toolbox talks
- Reporting any on-site issues to the line manager and ensuring they have a solution in place
- Completing daily allocation sheets and record tonnage processed
- Regular inspection of machinery to fault find and determine defects within the plant – carry out minor repairs and report further defects via the defect app or line manager
- Ensuring paperwork is completed correctly and on time
- Maintaining good contract / client relationships
- Ensuring the general cleanliness of the site environment is kept to good standards
Desired Experience / Skills
- Experience with Crushers, Screeners & Washers.
- Experience in completing RAMS and site supervision
- Computer literacy
- Site Manager Gold Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Clean license
