LV Logistics – currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team based in Middlesbrough. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:
As our Warehouse Operative, you will assist in the management and smooth running of the network, dealing with the daily issues concerning customers, drivers and depots with a specific emphasis on customer needs and expectations.
This role would suit someone with traffic office experience and strong customer service skills, who may be looking to make a career within logistics.
Key responsibilities of our Warehouse Operative:
- Ensuring FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported.
- Working to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
- Dealing with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
- Ensuring safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations.
- High level of care and accuracy with pick operations.
- Loading distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion.
- Maintaining high standards of site house-keeping
- Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately.
What we are looking for in our Warehouse Operative:

- Remains calm under pressure.
- FLT Counter Balance
- H&S basic or higher desirable but not essential
- Excellent IT skills
