Tradewind Recruitment are working with a specialist SEN school in Rossendale seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex SEND.
The Role
-
Provide personal care, mobility, and sensory support for pupils with physical and learning needs

Work 1:1 or in small groups to promote independence, communication, and wellbeing

Support therapy programmes and use communication aids such as Makaton or PECS
-
Work collaboratively with teachers, healthcare staff, and therapists
About You
-
Experience in care, support work, or SEN education (PMLD or complex needs preferred)

Compassionate, reliable, and resilient with a calm, nurturing approach
-
Comfortable assisting with personal care and medical routines (training provided)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
