Description
This position is for a Production Manager in the Electrical Assembly department, overseeing all production activities within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing firm based in Macclesfield
- Manage and oversee all production activities within the electrical assembly department.
 - Maintain a clear understanding of the company’s strategic objectives.
 - Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
 - Ensure all production activities align with health and safety regulations.
 - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
 - Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
 - Develop and manage the production budget.
 - Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.
 
Profile
A successful Production Manager (Electrical Assembly) should have:
- A proven track record as a production manager, preferably with exposure to an electrical assembly environment.
 - Experience managing a production team in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
 - Knowledge of electrical assembly processes.
 - Strong leadership and team management skills.
 - Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
 - Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
 - Electrical assembly of low volume complex electro-mechanical dynamic capital equipment – advantageous but not essential
 - Execution of capital electrical projects (built to order) – advantageous but not essential
