Our team combines evidence-based practice with trauma-informed, holistic approaches across psychology, OT, physiotherapy, PBS, dietetics, and speech pathology.
As we grow, we are looking for a mid-level Occupational Therapist to join our team at either our Seacliff or Salisbury clinics. In this role, you will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support adults, adolescents, and children in achieving greater confidence, independence, and joy in their lives.
The Position:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients across NDIS, Medicare and private funding streams in a variety of settings (clinic, home, school, workplace, community).
- Support participants to identify and achieve goals, promoting independence, inclusion and wellbeing.
- Provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and reports that reflect best practice and comply with professional, ethical and legislative requirements.
- Provide education, coaching and capacity-building to clients and their support systems.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with support coordinators, GPs and schools.
- Complete risk assessments, functional capacity evaluations, and equipment prescription.
- Support early intervention and preventative care plans, particularly for children and young people.
- Share knowledge and positively contribute to a continuous improvement workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Eligible for assessment and recognition by the Occupational Therapy Council (OTC) Australia to ensure your qualification meets Australian standards
- Eligible for AHPRA registration in Australia (or eligibility to apply upon OTC recognition)
- Knowledge of disability, mental health, and developmental conditions, and their impact on daily life
- Evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening
- Current driverโs license and access to a reliable vehicle
