Remedy are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated NURSERY Leader for our nurseries in East london, Newham
NURSERY LEADER – What we are looking for individuals who have:
- Have a NVQ level 3 or above qualification in Child Care.
- Can be responsible for the day-to-day management of their room and encourage good practice by the staff team.
- Develop excellent written and verbal communication with parents.
- Observe each child’s progress and report on their achievements.
- Be a keyworker for a specified number of children.
- Plan a range of interesting and exciting activities to promote children’s development.
- Be responsible for creating a stimulating and attractive environment.
- Ensure that all required standards and ratios are maintained at all times within the room.
- Assist the nursery with the organisation of and attend parent’s meetings as required.
- Assist the preparation of the nursery for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the Inspector, in consultation with the Nursery Manager.
- In the absence of the Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager, ensure all doors are locked and lock the building at the end of the day, including the setting of the alarm.
