Medical Receptionist

Are you an experienced GP Receptionist looking for a new challenge? Our client is an established NHS GP Practice in Vauxhall and is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join their patient services team!
Key Details:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday position (no nights or weekends, and no Wednesdays)
- Two shift patterns available (rota between the 2):
- 7:45 am to 3:15 pm
- 11:00 am to 6:30 pm
- Competitive hourly rate up to £13.85 per hour
- 6 weeks holiday (pro rata) PLUS bank holidays!
- Please note there may be 1 Saturday a year and 1 early or late a week (7:20am start or 7pm finish)
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a GP setting
- Proficiency in EMIS and Docman systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Main Duties:
- Rotate between reception and patient administration areas
- Support Team Leader in managing clinicians’ workload
- Organise practice meetings and liaise with external agencies
- Manage bring forward and filing systems
- Participate in practice housekeeping and maintenance of staff facilities
- Actively contribute to improving practice quality
