The post of Management Accountant is as 12 month fixed term contract. You will be a key member of the internal finance team, and tasks will include –
- Maintain accounting records, producing accounts to trial balance, analytically reviewing the accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- When required, produce detailed and insightful management reports for the various departments, responsible for reviewing your own work to ensure accurate and on time.
- Effectively and professionally manage queries and obtaining information from colleagues.
- Identify any improvements to process efficiency and share your ideas to the Senior Finance Manager.
- Oversee the accounts payable function which includes reviewing the ledger and nominal review.
- Motivate and mentor trainees in the team
To fit in with the team, and to be successful in the post, you will be confident – assertive and diplomatic – with the skill of communicating effectively to all levels of colleagues from trainee to senior leadership members. You will be professionally presented, a team player, adaptable and able to take the initiative.
We invite those with ample management accounting experience and ACA, ACCA or QBE, and suitably practiced management accountants who can commit to a 12 month contract to apply.
