Quest Search and Selection are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Print Sales to lead and drive the sales performance of a leading national newspaper’s print edition.
This is a key role that will involve developing and executing a strategy to grow circulation, increase revenue, and enhance the visibility of the print product in retail stores and other distribution channels. You will work closely with key retailers, third-party distributors, and internal teams to ensure the paper’s continued success in an evolving market.

Key Responsibilities of thisHead of Print Sales role –
- Develop and execute a comprehensive print sales strategy that boosts circulation and revenue.
- Manage sales targets and circulation budgets, reporting regularly on performance to senior management
- Identify new opportunities to expand the newspaper’s presence in retail and alternative distribution points.
- Work with retail partners to ensure visibility and premium placement in stores.
- Oversee promotional campaigns, including in-store activations and marketing initiatives, to drive sales.
- Analyse sales data and adjust strategies to optimise performance and meet targets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including retailers, agencies, and distribution partners.

- Proven experience in print sales, retail sales, and circulation management, preferably in the publishing or media sector.
- Strong understanding of retail partnerships, distribution strategies, and promotional campaigns.
