Quest Search & Selection are currently working for one of the largest commercial employers within retail on the Channel Islands. They are keen to speak to candidates that are open to relocation for a career opportunity to work in an field based capacity.
This business has seen YOY growth within their food division & operate stores across both islands for a reputable high street brand.
The Field Compliance & Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining consistency in delivery across the store estate and consistently review retail operations for compliance and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities of the Field Compliance & Operations Manager – Food Retail role:
- Facilitate communication channels among various stakeholders.
- Implement project management strategies as directed by the Head of Retail
- Develop audit plans for store managers
- Enhance sales and cost efficiency through streamlining, innovation, and well-defined operational plans.
- Compile meeting materials, including scheduling business/high shrink reviews.
- Conduct Safe and Legal audits.
- Provide support for stock-taking processes.
- Provide support as a Store Manager during peak times when necessary.
- Conduct Health and Safety risk assessments, including fire safety, etc.
To be successful in this Field Compliance & Operations Manager – Food Retail role:
- You must have experience as Store Manager ( past or current) . Other job titles could include Operations Manager/Central Support Manager/Audit Manager/ Health& Safety Manager/Compliance mMnager/Availability Manager in supermarkets.
- Experience in supporting stores in compliance, health & safety, audits, stocktakes and other operational assistance.
- Take the lead on implementing the safe and legal policy.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and shift between immediate and long-term priorities.
- Display strong commercial awareness.
- Proficient in using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
