Description
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring their development and growth.
- Maintain and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and internal procedures.
- Prepare and review audit reports, providing clear and concise recommendations.
- Assist in identifying business development opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in professional services.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing audit engagements within professional services.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Leadership abilities to guide and develop team members effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
