Job Overview
Recruit UK is pleased to be advertising an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional Financial Adviser to join a well-established firm in Silsden. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compliant financial advice to an existing client base, covering investments, pensions, tax planning, and protection products.
You will work closely with an in-house support team, including experienced administrators and paraplanners, to deliver outstanding client service while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve a combination of face-to-face and telephone-based advice and will typically include:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing clients
- Conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, objectives, and future plans
- Analysing client information and preparing bespoke financial plans
- Completing detailed risk assessments and suitability reports
- Researching the market to identify appropriate financial products and solutions
- Designing and implementing tailored financial strategies
- Assisting clients in making informed financial decisions
- Reviewing and responding to changes in clients’ personal and financial circumstances
- Liaising with product providers to secure competitive terms
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external professionals, including solicitors and estate agents
- Producing clear, compliant financial reports
- Keeping up to date with financial products, market developments, and relevant legislation
- Ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations, including disclosure and documentation requirements
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) is essential
- Chartered status preferred, though Diploma-qualified candidates will be considered
- Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, tax planning, and protection products
- Excellent communication, organisational, and numerical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to deliver professional, client-focused advice
- Experience providing advice to UK clients, primarily within Yorkshire
