We are working with a reputable manufacturer in Kent who are looking to hire a Design Engineer with mechanical bias.
The role has been created due to expansion of the already well-established design team, and the successful appointee will work on the design and redesign of a wide product range.
Our client supplies electronics products into the aerospace, defence and military industries.
Responsibilities:
– Designing, verifying, preparing and maintaining technical drawings, schematics and specs.
– Preparing manufacturing and process instructions
– Resolving design discrepancies
– Support the design and development of test rigs
Skills & Experience required:
– BEng in mechanical subject or equivalent
– Minimum 3 years design for manufacture experience
– 3D CAD proficient (CREO preferred)
